NASDAQ Dubai Outsourcing To Dubai Financial Market Systems Takes Place Successfully

The outsourcing of trading of NASDAQ Dubai equities to Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM’s) systems took place successfully and on schedule today. Trading took place in the shares of DP World and Depa through UAE and international brokers before the market close at 2pm (10am GMT). Jeff Singer, Chief Executive of NASDAQ Dubai, said: We are delighted to have achieved a successful migration to DFM’s trading platform. This has been a joint effort involving many of our market participants and we are grateful for their support. We now look forward to higher trading volumes in due course. Already several more UAE brokers have inquired today about how to become a Member of NASDAQ Dubai.
